If I knew you were coming I woulda baked a cake

I thought I'd share some pics of my kitchen, just because it's one of my favorite rooms in my house. Unfortunately my camara super sucks haha- I'm dreaming of a beautiful expensive one- but till then- I will have to be content.

Our Breakfast Nook. We have a checkered linoleum floor. Though I'm not a fan of the way linoleum flooring looks or cleaning it- I totally dig the checkers.

I'm a bit obsessed with owls- I think I have one in every room in our house. Here is my anthro owl cookie jar- a gift from my mother-in-law.

Sink side. Both of our light fixtures are ikea and the curtains are from my wedding fabrics.

Stove side. - I loooove having a gas stove/oven. it rocks. I also Looooove Cathrine Holm. Unfortunately its expensive. Thankfully I have gotten lucky thrifting with this large dutchpot and and bowl....ooo how I wish I had about 5 more of those.
