Steve McCurry : Documentary Photographer.
You might know Steve McCurry from these images. Taken of an Afghan woman as a chid and an adult. I'm a big national geographic fan so I always remembered the first image of the girl which was on a cover of an edition. Then..obviously years and years later....Steve went back to Afganistan and found the same woman. Beautiful portraits.
I happened upon his website a couple of weeks ago and sat for at least an hour just going through all the images- amazing.

These are from his India Gallery which makes me want to move there and paint for a year. The colors and patterns just squeeze at my heart.
